About Infinity Academy

Building mathematical excellence through rigorous problem-solving education

Our Mission

We follow the Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) curriculum to develop deep mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. Our students excel in competitions like MATHCOUNTS, AMC, AIME, USAMO, and USAJMO while building critical thinking and mathematical maturity for lifelong success.

Our Approach

AoPS Methodology

We follow the Art of Problem Solving textbook series in a comprehensive two-part sequence, ensuring students master material thoroughly for competitive mathematics success.

Problem-Based Learning

Learning happens through solving challenging problems. Getting stuck and working through difficulties develops resilience, creativity, and deep mathematical insight.

Personalized Attention

Class sizes of 4-8 students enable individualized feedback and tailored instruction, ensuring every student is challenged at their appropriate level.

Competition Ready

Specialized materials prepare students for MATHCOUNTS, AMC 8/10/12, AIME, USAMO, and USAJMO. We teach problem-solving strategies that lead to competition success.

Complete Curriculum Path

Our comprehensive curriculum covers the complete AoPS series, with each textbook divided into two parts

Prealgebra (Parts I & II)

Core foundations: arithmetic, fractions, decimals, ratios, percents, basic equations, introductory geometry, statistics, and probability.

Introduction to Algebra (Parts I & II)

Comprehensive coverage of exponents, linear and quadratic equations, systems of equations, functions, sequences, series, graphing, and logarithms.

Introduction to Counting & Probability

In-depth study of permutations, combinations, Pascal's triangle, geometric probability, combinatorial identities, and the Binomial Theorem.

Introduction to Geometry

Complete curriculum in plane and solid geometry: triangles, circles, polygons, area, power of a point, 3D figures, and transformations.

Introduction to Number Theory

Explores prime numbers, divisibility, modular arithmetic, base numbers, Diophantine equations, and number sense.

Teaching Philosophy

Learning Through Struggle

True understanding comes from grappling with challenging problems. Getting stuck is the beginning of deeper learning.

Mastery Over Speed

We emphasize depth over breadth, understanding over memorization, and problem-solving over computation.

Student-Centered Learning

Small class sizes enable personalized feedback and instruction adapted to each student's pace.

Mathematical Maturity

We develop logical thinking, abstract reasoning, and confidence to tackle unfamiliar problems.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are experienced educators with strong mathematical backgrounds, thoroughly trained in the AoPS methodology. They inspire students to love problem-solving, embrace challenges, and discover the beauty of mathematical thinking through mentorship and personalized support.
